Lots of people these days, now that the solar panel price is dropping regularly, are installing home solar systems in the form of photovoltaic (pv) solar panels on both their residential and business properties.

You will be able to sleep in your warm bed knowing that you have a constant supply of electricity from the sun which will not run out and also that you are doing your bit towards green solar panel energy and saving our planet.

You are right! There are many people who don't understand the full potential of solar energy. It's not only useful when the sun is out. The energy is available for later if it is stored properly. Additionally, as you said, the grid can certainly supplement the energy usage of a household.
